Barges are also moored here
Barges currently moored in our harbour include ‘Vigilant’ a traditional Thames sailing barge, French and Belgian ‘peniches’, a converted Dutch post-office barge and a Tjalk, along with two modern barges built by us.
The harbour dries out at low water. Barges lie in 'mud berths'. Access to the shore is by pontoon walkways. We have a number of moorings in the river itself. Click here for a panorama view of our harbour.
